These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the Al Mausam Travel website and to travel enquiries, quotations, reservations, ticketing assistance, hotel bookings, tours, transportation arrangements and other travel-related services arranged through Al Mausam Travel.
By using this website, requesting a quotation, making a booking or instructing Al Mausam Travel to arrange travel services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Role of Al Mausam Travel
Al Mausam Travel operates as a travel agency and intermediary between customers and independent travel service providers.
These providers may include airlines, hotels, transport companies, tour operators, guides, attractions and other travel suppliers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Al Mausam Travel does not own, operate or control airline seats, aircraft, hotels, hotel rooms, vehicles, attractions or other third-party travel services.
Our role is to assist customers in finding, reserving, purchasing and managing travel services provided by these independent suppliers.
2. Quotations
All quotations are subject to availability and supplier confirmation.
A quotation does not guarantee:
- Availability
- Airline fare
- Hotel rate
- Seat availability
- Room availability
- Tour availability
- Exchange rate
- Supplier confirmation
Prices and availability may change at any time before the relevant booking or ticket is confirmed.
Where a quotation includes an expiry or validity period, it remains subject to supplier availability during that period.
3. Airline Tickets
Airline tickets are supplied by the relevant airline and are subject to that airline’s:
- Fare conditions
- Conditions of carriage
- Baggage rules
- Schedule
- Change rules
- Cancellation rules
- No-show rules
- Refund conditions
- Rebooking fees
- Fare differences
Al Mausam Travel assists customers in selecting, reserving and purchasing airline tickets.
Al Mausam Travel does not operate flights and does not control airline schedules, cancellations, delays, aircraft changes, seat assignments, baggage handling or airline operational decisions.
The customer is responsible for checking the applicable fare conditions before confirming a ticket.
4. Hotel Reservations
Hotel accommodation is provided by the relevant hotel or accommodation provider.
Hotel reservations remain subject to the hotel’s:
- Availability
- Room conditions
- Check-in and check-out times
- Cancellation policy
- No-show policy
- Deposit requirements
- Child policies
- Meal arrangements
- Additional charges
Descriptions, photographs and classifications are based on information supplied by hotels or other sources and may change.
Al Mausam Travel does not control the day-to-day operation, facilities or service standards of independent hotels.
5. Tours and Other Travel Services
Where Al Mausam Travel arranges tours, excursions, transfers, guides, attractions or other travel services, the service may be provided directly by Al Mausam Travel or by an independent supplier depending on the specific arrangement.
The applicable quotation or confirmation will determine what services are included.
Schedules and itineraries may change because of weather, road conditions, closures, safety requirements, supplier availability or other operational circumstances.
6. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when:
- The relevant supplier confirms availability where applicable.
- Al Mausam Travel confirms the reservation to the customer.
- Any required payment or deposit has been received.
An enquiry, preliminary reservation or quotation alone does not constitute a confirmed booking.
Customers should not make non-refundable arrangements based only on an unconfirmed quotation.
7. Prices
Prices are based on the travel details provided by the customer, including dates, routes, passenger numbers and requested services.
Unless expressly stated, prices may exclude:
- Visa charges
- Travel insurance
- Personal expenses
- Optional activities
- Meals not specified
- Additional baggage
- Resort or city taxes
- Hotel incidentals
- Tips
- Additional transportation
- Supplier charges imposed after confirmation
Obvious typographical, technical or calculation errors may be corrected before final confirmation.
8. Service Fees
Al Mausam Travel may charge service fees for work performed, including:
- Ticketing
- Reservations
- Booking assistance
- Amendments
- Cancellations
- Refund processing
- Visa or travel-document assistance
- Itinerary preparation
- Other travel agency services
Where applicable, Al Mausam Travel service fees are separate from airline, hotel or supplier charges.
Service fees already earned for completed agency work may be non-refundable where permitted by law.
9. Payment
The customer must make payment according to the deadline and payment terms communicated by Al Mausam Travel.
Failure to pay on time may result in:
- Loss of reservation
- Fare increase
- Loss of hotel availability
- Cancellation by the supplier
- Requirement for a new quotation
Bank charges, card charges, foreign-exchange charges and other payment-provider costs may be payable by the customer unless otherwise agreed.
10. Changes Requested by Customers
Any requested change is subject to supplier availability and applicable supplier rules.
Changes may result in:
- Airline change fees
- Fare differences
- Hotel amendment charges
- Supplier penalties
- Additional service fees
- New taxes or charges
Al Mausam Travel will inform the customer of known applicable charges before completing a requested change where reasonably possible.
11. Cancellations
Cancellation conditions depend on the supplier and type of booking.
Airline tickets, hotel reservations, tours and other services may be:
- Fully refundable
- Partially refundable
- Non-refundable
- Changeable with a fee
- Non-changeable
- Subject to no-show penalties
Specific supplier cancellation rules communicated with a quotation or booking confirmation will apply to that service.
12. Refunds
Where a customer is entitled to a refund from an airline, hotel or other independent supplier, Al Mausam Travel will assist with submitting or processing the request.
Al Mausam Travel cannot guarantee that an independent supplier will approve a refund.
The amount and timing of a supplier refund depend on:
- Supplier rules
- Fare conditions
- Cancellation conditions
- Amount approved by the supplier
- Supplier processing time
- Amount actually returned to Al Mausam Travel where applicable
Al Mausam Travel is not required to advance money that has not yet been returned by the relevant supplier, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Any applicable Al Mausam Travel service fee will be handled separately and in accordance with the agreed service and applicable law.
13. Airline Schedule Changes, Delays and Cancellations
Airlines may change:
- Flight schedules
- Departure times
- Arrival times
- Aircraft
- Routes
- Connections
- Airports
- Seats
Such decisions are controlled by the airline.
Al Mausam Travel will reasonably assist customers with available alternatives, rebooking or refund requests, but airline decisions and available remedies remain subject to the airline’s rules and applicable law.
14. Supplier Failures
Hotels, airlines and other suppliers are independent providers.
To the extent permitted by law, Al Mausam Travel is not responsible for independent supplier acts or omissions outside its reasonable control, including:
- Airline operational failures
- Hotel service failures
- Supplier insolvency
- Overbooking
- Transportation delays
- Lost baggage
- Supplier cancellations
- Changes to facilities
- Service interruptions
Nothing in these Terms removes any responsibility that Al Mausam Travel is legally required to bear.
15. Passports and Travel Documents
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they possess:
- Valid passports
- Required passport validity
- Visas
- Entry permits
- Transit visas
- Health documentation
- Travel approvals
- Other documentation required by relevant authorities
Entry and visa requirements may change without notice.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, information provided by Al Mausam Travel concerning visas or entry requirements is general assistance and does not constitute a guarantee of entry.
Final entry decisions are made by the relevant immigration, government or border authorities.
16. Visas
Where Al Mausam Travel assists with a visa application, the decision to approve or reject the visa is made solely by the relevant government, embassy, consulate or immigration authority.
Payment for visa assistance does not guarantee visa approval.
Al Mausam Travel is not responsible for rejection, delay or additional documentation requested by the relevant authority, except where the problem results directly from Al Mausam Travel’s own error.
17. Customer Information
Customers must provide accurate information, including:
- Passenger names
- Passport details
- Travel dates
- Contact information
- Dates of birth where required
- Nationality
- Other information required for the booking
Names supplied for airline tickets must match the travel document where required.
The customer must check booking confirmations and tickets promptly.
Additional costs resulting from incorrect information supplied by the customer may be charged to the customer where permitted by law.
18. Information About Other Travellers
A person making a booking on behalf of other travellers confirms that they have authority to provide the necessary personal and travel information for those travellers and to communicate booking information to them.
The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that the other travellers are informed of relevant booking conditions.
19. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Customers should consider appropriate insurance covering matters such as:
- Medical expenses
- Cancellation
- Travel interruption
- Baggage
- Personal liability
- Emergency evacuation
- Missed connections
Al Mausam Travel does not provide insurance coverage unless expressly stated.
20. Health and Fitness
Customers are responsible for determining whether they are medically and physically able to undertake their chosen travel arrangements or activities.
Relevant mobility, medical or accessibility requirements should be disclosed before confirmation where they may affect the requested arrangements.
21. Force Majeure and Events Beyond Reasonable Control
Al Mausam Travel shall not be responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for failure, delay, interruption or additional expense caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
These may include:
- Severe weather
- Natural disasters
- Epidemics or pandemics
- War
- Civil disturbance
- Government action
- Border closures
- Airport closures
- Strikes
- Road closures
- Transportation disruption
- Supplier failure
- Telecommunications outages
- Other extraordinary events
Refunds or credits in such circumstances may depend on the amounts recoverable from the relevant suppliers and applicable law.
22. Website Information
Al Mausam Travel aims to provide accurate information on its website.
However:
- Prices may change
- Availability may change
- Photographs may be illustrative
- Hotel facilities may change
- Tour schedules may change
- Airline schedules may change
- Third-party information may become outdated
Website information does not constitute a guaranteed booking unless confirmed in writing as part of a reservation.

Al Mausam Travel does not guarantee uninterrupted access to this website.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- Maintenance
- Hosting issues
- Security incidents
- Internet failures
- Software problems
- Circumstances outside our control

Al Mausam Travel does not control these websites and is not responsible for their:

25. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Al Mausam Travel’s original website content, branding, logos, written materials and layout may not be commercially reproduced without permission.
Airline names, hotel names, trademarks, photographs and other third-party intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
26. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Al Mausam Travel is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control or from the independent acts of third-party suppliers.
Where Al Mausam Travel is legally liable, liability shall only be limited to the extent permitted under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts:
- Mandatory consumer rights
- Liability that cannot legally be excluded
- Obligations imposed by applicable Omani law
This is important because Oman’s Consumer Protection Law imposes obligations on service providers, so a website clause cannot simply remove statutory customer rights.
27. Complaints
Customers should report any problem as soon as reasonably possible so that Al Mausam Travel has an opportunity to assist or contact the relevant supplier.
A complaint should provide enough information to identify:
- The customer
- Booking
- Service concerned
- Nature of the problem
Customers are encouraged to report problems while travelling where practical rather than waiting until travel has ended.
28. Privacy
Personal data is handled in accordance with the Al Mausam Travel Privacy Policy and applicable Omani personal data protection requirements.
Oman’s Personal Data Protection Law is Royal Decree 6/2022, with Executive Regulations issued under Ministerial Decision 34/2024.
29. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws and regulations of the Sultanate of Oman.
Any dispute shall be subject to the competent authorities and courts of the Sultanate of Oman, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
30. Changes to These Terms
Al Mausam Travel may revise these Terms & Conditions when reasonably necessary to reflect changes in:
- Services
- Supplier arrangements
- Website operation
- Business practices
- Applicable laws or regulations
Updated Terms will be published on this website with the applicable effective date.
Terms specifically agreed for an already confirmed booking will continue to apply to that booking unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
